We collect personal information to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering your details on our website, you consent to us holding personal data about you, which we may use for future mailings. However, the information you give will not be shared with any company other than ourselves.

With the exception of the product images used in the online store, the entire contents of this website, including, but not limited to: text, graphics, logos and images, are the property of The Hat Shop, Burnham Market, its suppliers or it's clients and are protected by British and International copyright and trademark laws. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any portion of the website contents without the prior express written consent of The Hat Shop, Burnham Market.

With the exception of the product images used in the online store, all images featured throughout this website were taken by Andrew Kitt (andrewkittphotography.co.uk).

You may print or download portions of the materials from various areas of this website solely for your own non-commercial use provided that you agree not to change or delete any copyright or proprietary notices from the materials. SECURITY.

All information (including credit card details) is sent and received via secure pages hosted by PayPal. We will not have access to your personal credit card or banking information as this is held securely within PayPal.

USING OUR ONLINE STORE.

The Hat Shop reserves the right to refuse to accept an order if;
The goods are not available;
Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
If there has been a pricing or product description error; or
If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING.

We will deliver anywhere in mainland UK, Europe and the USA. For destinations outside these Countries, please contact us.

P&P inside the UK is £2.99 as First Class Recorded. Next Day Delivery UK £5.50

Postage to mainland Europe is £6.95 per item and postage to the USA is £9.95 per item.

Delivery is made Monday - Friday. There is no delivery on Weekends or Bank Holidays. We will endeavor to dispatch and deliver your goods as swiftly as possible.

If the Carrier is unable to deliver the driver will leave a card and try to deliver the next day. If next day delivery fails again, a card will be left requesting that you pick up your order from the carriers depot. If the parcel is not picked up the carrier will return to The Hat Shop and the customer will have to pay for a further delivery.

If the customer gives special instructions to The Hat Shop for the carrier to leave the parcel outside your house or with a neighbour it will be left at the customers own risk.

If your item is out of stock we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative product or to advise you on a later delivery date.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY.

To exercise your right of cancellation you must inform us by:

Written notice by post or e-mail. Notification by phone is not sufficient.

Although we are sure you will be delighted with your purchase from The Hat Shop, should you wish to return any item, you may do so within 5 days of receipt, in original condition, all labels intact in a saleable condition for an exchange or refund (excluding postal charges).

The Hat Shop reserves the right to refuse to accept returned items not in their original condition.
